Hiring & Onboarding
Process
Offer letter reviewed and signed. Your role, rate, and start date are confirmed.
- Offer letter signed and returned to Hana
Reference checks are still in progress. This step must be cleared before you're fully onboarded. Contact Hana if you have questions about status or if a reference hasn't responded.
- Reference checks received and cleared
As an independent contractor, you'll receive a 1099 — not a W-2. RTF processes payments through ADP. Have the following ready when Hana sends your enrollment link:
- Bank name and account type (checking or savings)
- ABA routing number (9 digits — on a check or in your banking app)
- Account number
- Voided check or bank letter if requested
- Social Security Number or EIN for 1099 tax reporting
- ADP enrollment completed and confirmed with Hana
RTF's employment policies apply to all employees, volunteers, and contractors. Required reading before your first day of service. Covers EEO, anti-harassment, complaint procedures, corrective action, and external rights.
- Handbook read in full
- Written acknowledgment of receipt returned to Hana
Submit your emergency contact information to Hana. Required before your first shift.
- Name, relationship, and phone number submitted
